Information we collect
We collect information you give us at drop-off, on a ticket, by phone, email, or on this website. That can include name, address, email, phone number, device details, passwords you choose to provide for repair, payment information, and repair notes. If you use the website, we may also collect IP address, browser type, and cookies as described below.
How we use it
We use this information to identify you, repair and return your equipment, contact you about your ticket, process payment, keep shop records, and improve our service. We do not sell your personal information.
SMS messages
If you check the SMS Opt In box on our check-in ticket or intake form, we may send text messages to the mobile number on file. Messages may include ticket status updates, repair-ready notices, pickup reminders, and service follow-up. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to cancel. Reply HELP for help. Consent is optional and is not a condition of drop-off, repair, or purchase. We do not send these service texts unless you opt in.

Who we share data with
We may share information with payment processors, parts vendors, software providers (including our ticket system), and wireless carriers only as needed to complete your repair or deliver messages you requested. We may disclose information if required by law.
How long we keep data
We keep ticket and customer records as long as needed to run the shop, honor warranties, and meet record-keeping or legal requirements, then delete or archive them.
Your choices
You may ask us to update your contact information, stop SMS (reply STOP or call the shop), or request access to or deletion of personal data we hold, except records we must keep for legal, security, or accounting reasons. Contact (775) 751-9685 or visit the shop.
Website comments, cookies, and accounts
If you leave a comment on this site, we collect the data shown in the comment form, your IP address, and browser user agent to help with spam detection. An anonymized hash of your email may be sent to Gravatar (automattic.com/privacy). After approval, your comment and profile picture may be public.
If you upload images, avoid including embedded location data (EXIF GPS); other visitors may extract it.
If you leave a comment you may save name, email, and website in cookies for one year. The login page sets a temporary cookie to test if your browser accepts cookies. Login cookies last two days (two weeks if you select Remember Me). Screen option cookies last one year. Editing a post may set a cookie with the post ID for one day.
Articles may embed content from other websites. That content is treated as if you visited the other site and may use cookies or tracking.
Password-reset emails may include your IP address. Comments and comment metadata may be kept indefinitely for moderation. Registered users can view, edit, or delete their profile information except username. Administrators can view and edit that information. Comments may be checked by an automated spam service.
You may request an export or deletion of website personal data we hold, except data we must keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
